ZM5是一种镁－铝－锌系合金， 可用于砂型、 金属型及压力铸造， 该合金不合稀土元素和错元素 ， 是一种比较廉价的铸造筷合金 ， 在国内外均获得广泛应用。该合金具有良好的流动性、 可焊性。经固溶处理后具有较高的抗拉强度、 塑性和中等屈服强度， 后接人工时效处理， 则塑性降低， 屈服强度提高。 合金可在铸态（F）、 固溶处理（T4）以及固溶处理后接人工时效( T6）等状态下应用。可用作受力构件和一般用途的铸件， 如卫星支架、 飞机舱体隔框、 机匣、 壳体、 轮毂、 轮缘等。

ZM5 is a magnesium - aluminum- zinc alloy, which can be used for sand mold casting, metal mold casting, and pressure casting. This alloy does not contain rare earth elements or zirconium element, and is a relatively cheap cast magnesium alloy, which has wide applications at home and abroad. The alloy has good liquidity and weldability. After solid solution treatment, it has high tensile strength, high plasticity and moderate yield strength. And followed by artificial aging treatment, its plasticity is reduced, and the yieId strength increased. The alloy can be used in as-cast state (F), solid solution treatment state (T4) and solid solution treatment after artificial aging state (T6) and other states. It can be used as stress components and other general purpose casting，such as satellite support, airplane cabin bulkhead, shell cast, wheel hub, wheel rim, etc
